Julie Legrand is an illustrator who has just moved to Sète, 

In 2018, she graduated from ESAL (Épinal) and then continued her apprenticeship in the workshops of the Fundación CIEC (Betanzos, A Coruña, Spain) where she trained for several months in various printmaking techniques.

Passionate about fanzines and micro-publishing, she travels from festival to fair and from fair to fair in France and Spain. Julie favours paper as a support and drawing as a medium, showing a particular interest in the expressive use of line. She also maintains a close relationship with graphic design, which punctuates her work to the rhythm of her commissions.

She loves posters, typography, printing and paper, imperfection, colour, black too, and above all line. She is also a member of Cyclo, a new-born printing centre and cultural and educational space in the heart of Sète, and continues to be involved in the field of printmaking through etching and screen-printing, and is flourishing within a collective project that is very dear to her!
