Collection: Paiheme Studio

Paiheme Studio is the illustration practice of French artist and art director Pierre-Marie Postel. His work is strongly influenced by Japanese visual culture, combining references from manga, anime, vintage advertising, graphic design, and everyday city life.

Working with bold colours, clean shapes, and carefully balanced compositions, Paiheme creates illustrations that are rich in detail and atmosphere. His images often depict urban environments, architecture, food, travel, and contemporary culture, drawing inspiration from both real-life observations and nostalgic visual references.

A recurring theme throughout his work is the relationship between people and their surroundings. Whether portraying a busy street scene or a quieter moment, his illustrations capture a sense of place while leaving room for the viewer’s own interpretation. This approach results in images that feel familiar, accessible, and engaging without relying on overt narrative.

By bringing together influences from different cultures and eras, Paiheme Studio has developed a visual language that is both distinctive and versatile, making the work equally suited to editorial, publishing, advertising, and personal projects.
