Leen De Pelseneer, the illustrator behind 'Leens' has always been creative. She grew up in the countryside and she loved the outdoors. She studied graphic design and worked for 13 years in that sector.

Watching her 2 children draw encouraged her to start again and find that initial enthousiasm again. Her favorite paint is gouache, her favorite subject ... nature of course. The peace and harmony that emerges from her illustrations is also the peace they bring her while she is making them.
