M. De Mulder got his name from one of the few Belgian survivors on the Titanic. He represents a very stereotypical Belgian, the man you see in a village wearing his blue coat, attending his pigeons in the backyard (holding his beer and his fries).

Illustrator info
Gert Paenen is a Belgian illustrator and one of the founders of the Galerie Frits webshop. He creates mostly colorful illustrations for his design studio 'Frits'. Gert studied illustration in Antwerp but started creating mostly when he moved to France right after. While living in the countryside he was clearly inspired by the nature surrounding him. Now that he lives in Antwerp again he also developed a keen interest in buildings and architecture.
