Collection: linocutting

Linocut is a handmade printmaking technique in which an image is carved into a sheet of linoleum, leaving the areas that will hold the ink raised. Ink is then rolled onto the surface and pressed onto paper, creating the final print.

The carving and printing are done by hand, giving each print a distinctive character. Small variations in texture, pressure and ink make every impression unique.
